I ran across a local gunsmith that does great trigger jobs and had some good local recommendations. I checked out his work, and let him do one on my CZ .17HMR. It was slick. We then got to talking about .22s (he has a super-accurate 10/22) and I mentioned the Marlin 17V I'd just bought. He pulled one out that he'd just done a trigger job on, and it was smooth and light. I'd already bought the Rifle Basix trigger and hadn't installed it, so I let him do the Marlin anyway. Needless to say, I'm very pleased. That's the story.
