Removing Barrel on a 93
I do not know any specifics on the 93 but I have a Mark II that has a drop-in barrel that is secured with a pin. I have found a web site that details changing out a drop-in barrel on an Anschutz which looks identical to my Mark II save for one pin. This is the web site of a Scottish barrel campany which details both the removal and installation of the barrel. Includes not only text but color pictures. I think this will answer most of your questions right down to the model of Loctite used to glue it back in.
I haven't tried this proceedure but will soon as I have a 16.5" modified Ruger .920" barrel with a match chamber on the way for my Mark II.
