No replacements ... it held in by spring pressure.
You should be able to pull it out by hand but it shouldn't fall off when shooting.

Remington 597 bolt handles

Outlander,

Thanks for your reply. Seems like I have a weak spring as
the bolt handle on my 597 22mag. is extraordinarily easy
to remove by just a slight pulls. Is there a way I can tighten
the spring or repace it without a major military operation?

I believe it's riveted in place, so you cant remove it to re-bend it.
If you remove the bolt and slip the handle in you might be able to tell why it comes out so easy ... could be the groove on the handle where the spring snaps into is not deep enough. It might just need a little touch up filing.
