This was my Remington 510-P Project that i did recently. I bought the rifle for around $130 and the 521 junior stock for about $30. Im 6'4" and that stock was waaaay to short so i went ahead and made a butt extension.

I also had to make a small notch in the wood to get the sights to fit.

I also needed a hand stop so i went ahead and made one real quick.

Overall i cant bellieve how well everything worked out and how well it shoots. I plan to start competing with it in the next month. Tell me what you think.

Very not bad! I'm also 6'4", but I usually just live with the shorter stocks, though I often use slip-on recoil pads for a little extra length. My 521-T fits okay, but I do find the 512-P a bit too short. Was your stock cut down for a "youth rifle"?
My 521-T has been fitted with an ugly slip-on ring style front sight with the blade ground down - nearly useless. I'm cruising eBay now bidding on some Lyman 17's.
