I have a Rem. 37 and was wondering if anyone has a drawing of the trigger assembly and could tell me how to go about adjusting it down to a lighter pull or can it be adjusted with out replacing the trigger? Thanks.:confused:

Triggers and adjusments:

Fiddler;

There were two trig. assy's in the 37 Rangemaster rifles. The first production trig. was replaced in 1940 with a trig. as good or better (my opinion) arguably, as the Win. 52C trigger.

Any good gunsmith should be able to set it up to your specs. Possibly Remington Arms Co. could provide you with instruction manual for your rifle.

Canjar supplied, as did other mfg's, replacement trig. assy's.

The three that I owned over the years had the 1940 type trigger, and all were excellent. Had them set at 3 lbs. No first stage takeup, no creep, no overtravel!! When 3 lbs was applied the rifle fired, no movement of the trigger could be felt.
