I have a romeo 5 on my mp15-22(and on my mp15 sport 5.56). Excellent red dot for the money. Holds zero, and I like shooting with both eyes open. I just ordered a 10/22 TD and will likely use a holosun 407C because its a bit smaller and I like green dots, but I would definitely buy another romeo 5.

Op....did you end up getting a RD for you TD?
My TD is in transit and I was planning on mounting a fixed 4x power scope on it. I've decided it will become my rapid fire plinker so went out and bought a RD.
The LGS had the Vortex SPARCII @ $110 off so one came home with me. The Romeo 5 looked good but was twice the price.....

I ended up going with a Vortex Venom Red Dot for my TD. I mounted it on the barrel with the Magpul optic mount. Works perfectly! Ive only shot it at 20 yards(length of indoor range), there’s still to much snow on the ground here. At 20 yards from rested I can get 5 shots touching using CCI Blazers.
I really like the takedown and it shot flawlessly, no problems at all!

Might look at primary arms. They have pretty nice relatively inexpensive rds. Md-25 iirc is one. If you want a little more magnification they have very sturdy but light 3x and 5x illuminated prism sights. I use all of them successfully.

The PA Md-25 came in at the same price as the SPARCII. I was going back and forth while fondling both at the LGS.
The 50,000 hrs battery life on the Md-25 was very impressive vs 6,000 on the SPARCII. It would have been great if the features of both RD's were put into one.
I'm sure I would have been happy with either but in the end I bought the SPARCII for it's VIP warranty, tethered caps and flip up eye-piece covers.
