Just because two scopes from different mfg. have the same size objective lens diameter does not necessarily mean that screw-in lens shades or covers that fits one will fit the other. I can attest to that from experience.

I agree with OC Joe,
I have a Tasco Mag IV 6X24-40 that a BSA Contender shade screwed right on. Antlurz has a Tasco 6x24-40 that the shade will not fit on. It also depends on where its manufactured. His is Japanese, mine is Chinese...JL
