There is a 44US on GB and the seller is claiming the Parkerized finish is original? I have searched through the posts here and looked through the Havlin's book ( for the hundreth time) and can not determine if any of these guns actually left the factory with a Parkerized finish. I have determined by my search here that the consensus is CMP or the Military re finished the barrels to the Parkerized style. Is this correct or am I all wet again ??

You are correct. The parkerized ones were rearsenaled. I have one of each and the newer one is blued. Since it was a military rearsenal it wouldn't stop me from buying it though. A lot different than your garage gunsmith job.
