You guys see the new Protektor rear bag yet? I saw one in the little flyer from Sinclair, looks like they are trying to get the customers that are going to Edgewood bags. The new bag has three layers of hard leather on the bottom with somekind of internal donut and Ears that are the height in between the rabbit and bunny ears.

Looks like a good bag to me anyone try one yet?

I saw the same flier with the ad. Looks like a really good bag but kind of pricey I thought.
Have not seen one in the real world though....

Yeah I got the same flier real nice looking bag and far cheaper than the edgewood bags. I just might try one.

I looked it up on the Sinclair site after reading this thread. It does look nice. Defintely meant to compete with a Edgewood.

New Protector rear bag

I have one on the way. I have been meaning to upgrade my rear bag, [standard Bald Eagle w/doughnut]. The price of the Edgewood was not what turned me off, it was the wait. The new Protector is susposed to be in Thursday or Friday.

I hate it when

a company advertises a new "improved" product, and they don't even have one in the house. I got a call from Sinclair saying they would have them in "in a couple of days".

I hate that almost as much as "we are out of stock".

Not that I'm unhappy with my current bag, but always looking at the next thing....
