Have any of you heard of that ammo that has no powder, just primer. I seen one fired. I just want to know if it can be fired in my 10/22 with a volquartsen barrel? What do you all think????:D

Aguilla, and possibly others, makes this powderless ammo. I shot a lot of it in my 10/22s with no problem. The box states that the bullets can become lodged in rifle barrels, but this has never been a problem with any of my guns. The only problem I've had with Colibris or Super Colibris is poor accuracy. Good luck to you.

It is sometimes refered to as CB caps and IT WON'T SHOOT AUTOMATICALLY in a auto gun...YOU CAN SINGLE LOAD it......but as the other post states they CAN become lodged in a RIFLE barrel and then create a problem for removeable and multiple bullets stuck in the barrel...I have seen them shot in bolt and single shot rifles and revolvers for gallery type shooting and close range city pest control and they shoot far from the point of aim for normal ammo in the few I have personally shot or seen shot.......They also can gun up the chamber on a normal LR chamber and are not worth the trouble in a auto...IMO...good luck and good shooting!!!

cci cb longs, have a small ammount of powder but are still super quiet. wont cycle action however so you will have to do it, do it slowly to aviod jams. much better than the real powderless colibri's and easily found at walmart or longs drugs. have fun
check local laws :) (specially if in city limits, or shooting indoors)
