Loading 1 range box = 100 rnds with one of my favorite precision .308 loads.

MEN berdan brass, Tula primers, IMR-4064/ 45 gn pushing 136 gn fb custom bullets at around 2800. Every one of my rifles either bolt or semi seem to do well with this recipe.

full length or neck resizing, how much freebore?

These are used in both my M14 10 dot rifles and precision bolts so they are full length sized. Seating leaves about .020 freebore.

Finished up the loading of one range box. For those of you who are avid re-loaders, this batch was excellent. Each load was delivered by my RCBS Matchmaster to +/- .02 gn which is the weight of 1 kernal of 4064.Love to see the powder come up 1/3 the length of the case neck. This means a full case, nearly 100%. Brass was just annealed before this loading so the neck tension produced nearly identical resistance during the entire seating stroke on the press. Looking forward to getting out on my range later.
My favorite M1A load is Hornady 155s over 40.5 grains of AA2520 in sorted LC brass using Russian primers. It shoots well in just about every M1A I have tried it in. Most of my club members are using it now.
I am about out of AA2520, so pretty soon I will have to work up a Varget load for my gun.

I load Hornady 155ELD with 45.1 grains of Varget and have very good luck with my Savage Axis. Might be a good starting point as it is well under the max load.
In my target 308s Ive settle on the following.
Lapua brass
43.5 IMR 4064
168 Nosler custom comp bullet
Fed match primers
This load has never let me down
