Picked up a Powers Custom hammer for my son's new 10/22. I meant to pick up a VQ hammer, but, because the way Cabelas site is layed out, I thought I was getting the VQ, but got a Powers Custom instead.

So, I will give it a try anyway. It is for a 10 year old, so all I want to do is lighten it up a bit to give him a proper trigger pull instead of the factory 7 lb pull, not necessarily give him a target grade super light trigger.

Which hammer spring should I use? The one that comes with the hammer, or the factory spring?

What about the trigger return spring? New or factory?
