I believe it's 'cause they using Eley priming. Can't say for sure as I've never shot the Eley, but I "smell ya".

Thanks. Just curious. I had shot PMC Predators in the past, and didn't notice. It just surprised me. I kind of like the more conventional sulfer smell, myself.
