Hello,
I had hopes for this kidd at PRS matches but not going to do it. It loves SK red box, half inch groups at 50 and 1.2inch at 100yds. Its great for 100 and in but much past 150 it can't hang with the bolt guys. I know I will here that it can but I have watched it first hand and like i said great for 100 and in and thats it. So its has to go. I love the gun and it a great shooter but it just not as consistent longer ranges. I always wanted one to try and I gave it a fair shake but my bergara b14r outshoots it at any distance. .

Thanks
Jon

Could be you just can't shoot!

No I don’t think that’s it just trying to get used to the rifle.
I dont like pull-throughs either.
But I do like Q-Tips bent in the shaft enough to make a chamber swab.
Ive have been using the BoreTech C-4 carbon cutter to avoid re-developing the dreaded crud-ring, working Very Well for me for a couple years now. I swab the chambers out quite often, no downside afaik.
I dont shoot as much volume as many here but when I do clean the bores I run a couple patches of old bore solvent to sop the main crud out then a couple of C-4 wet downbore and let it sit 'wet' for a bit before finishing up. Had one rifle that had been troublesome settle right down; ie, cut my 50yd groups in half.

I use qtips also but also bend a mop and put it on a pistol rod and do the same thing at times. I haven’t tried the c-4 yet. I still just use hoppes.
Thanks

Well guys I’m am putting it up for sale. It’s a great gun but with me being lefty I don’t like getting hit with unburnt powder and gas. I am the same way with ARs and semiautomatic shotguns it just bugs me. I am just going to run the bergara and stick with one gun. I did get IBI prefit for it that I am picking up this weekend and going to get a foundation stock for it. So if you know of anyone looking it’s in the classifieds. Thanks again
