You guys should check out the CZ forum at the top they have a separate thread just for people submitting there rifle pictures. You guys should do the same, I love Cooper rifles, when I graduate hopefully I'll be able to afford one. 57-M custom classic is what I want. Wish they sold the Classic model in a Deep Blue finish. I don't understand why the companies use that matte finish on there rifles other then the cost. What happened to that deep layered bluing that you could 'look into'?

Cooper CC 22lr

New to me Cooper Custom Classic 57m 22lr. These seem to be scarce north of the border in Canada. this one has a steel butt plate and skeleton grip cap and some real nice wood.

Nice JSR as well. I know what your talking about with starting out with one. I started with a 57M, then found a nice LVT at the local gun store. Then I was at at auction that had a JSR in 17HMR new in the box. I had no intentions of buying it, but when the bidding stopped just over $1000, I jumped in and ended up with it for $1100. Then I needed a bench gun, so I bought a TRP3. I had a few others that have since moved on.

I didn't know the made the LVT with a laminate stock. That walnut LVT sure is purty!

The laminate caught my eye so I had to pick it up. I have never seen another.
The aaa wood is excellent and I had a hard time getting a good picture.
Here is my TRP3 Model 57-M..........Could not stand that bubbly green any longer.

M57 Montana Varminter as near as I can tell. What are the differences between the MV and the LVT?

THAT really is a beauty, Al! And you know how I admire beautiful rifles. :)

Al if I had that beautiful rifle, I'd want to handload some subsonics to use on the tubbys!
Mighty fine rifle Al!! I keep thinking of getting a Hornet some day and that one reminds me why!
that is nice. Photo of Cooper/Anschutz, purchased more than 20 years ago

Well, I guess I need to post some pics of my only Cooper centerfire, a Model 38 Single-Shot in .22 Hornet. Cooper discontinued this particular version quite awhile ago (though I believe they still offer the Model 38 in other versions) It does have some very nice furniture and a fluted stainless barrel. I would much prefer a blued barrel and have even pondered having the barrel cerakoted to match the receiver, but that may compromise its value.
