I have many tube feed mossbergs and have not had any trouble with feeding with any of them. The mossberg will probably shoot as good or better and will be more of an investment. they are becomnig more in demand than the Marlin. It's hard to find a mossberg that don't shoot well. as for ammo rimfires can sometimes be finicky ,you will have to try different brands to see what your gun likes. marlins more so than Mossbergs. use the copper coated /washed rather than the waxy lubed ammo and you will have less feed and cleaning problems. Stay away from the discount "BULK" ammo. for better accuracy try Std LR or Target ammo. I had a old 46 B(b) that would drop Groundhogs at a little better than 100yds with a 75 yd site in useing Rem HVHP . I like the Winchester dynapoints better though. :Blasting _--Jim- -
