At least you didn't hit the deer with the Spider eh? Ouch!
Not many cars have the front wheel where your knees are. (Slight exaggeration).....slight.

Currently I am working on a 63 Bug, One of the 850 is a runner, the other not so much but I do have a fresh engine for it. Rail buggy, Fiero (that also pulled DD duty while the truck was down) the GT6, and currently 3 motorcycles. I am getting up there so pairing it down a bit.....and that is paired down. There was a time when I had 27 lic and insured vehicles......Hi I am 691 and I have a hobby problem.

Lets see what I have on the phone...these photos are likely to have other stuffs as the main subject, I will try to tell you what is the deal with them. And if you want more just holler.

Here I am taking some photos of some target hangers that I was welding some holes up on. See they get shot at from time to time, and some of the folk that come out are not that great of shots.....at least that is my story and I am sticking to it. The body of the bug is on horses at the moment, the body needs new heater channels.

Africa Twin, the tail end of a Suzuki TS100, rebuilding the engine on the two stroke suzuki, you can see the tail end of one of the 850's on the lift, and the wifes XT225. Shop dog is Recon, she has crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago....she was a good girl. Putting lights on the AT. I killed my last bike (deer again) and want as much light as possible.

Little ole Ford (Jacobsen) mower wears several hats, as well as mowing tight spots, it is also the mount of choice when shooting needs a bit more stuff then I want to carry.

I would love the bike, that would be so much fun.

For a while I was not sure what road to take with my VW. Baja it, make a fiberglass dune buggy. Finally hit on leaving the body just as is. With all the "patina". So it will basically be a new car under the body. I think that will be fun.

Body has but one hole in a door, not quite sure how to address that and keep with the theme. I could fix it up nice like normal, but I want it looking old rode hard put away wet. I will do new body seals...the basic make the thing last kind of thing.

I told myself that the GT6 was going to be the last car I did....but the VW kinda landed in my lap and I had to do something with it.

1972 white T Bird, 429.

She just kept getting harder to work on...
For the longest time I did those big American cars with the big engines. There is nothing on them past a lug nut that is not heavy. So I moved down to things like @Barksdale123 posted up, the good ole LBC (little british car). Never did a mini, but Triumph and MG, with a taste of Italy in Fiat as well as some German with Opel mixed in there for good measure. I SCCA road raced an Opel GT before 2000. Kinda blew that light weight thing right out of the water, 1.9L Opel engine is meaty. That head weighs a ton.

Speaking of electrical, it really is not unique to english cars, but cars that all used that natural rubber for the wires, it would just fall off and then the party started. We also need to remember in the hay day of these cars, 30 years ago, they are already older cars that have been through a few hands with questionable mechanical skills.

Fast forward to today and many of the "nice" examples are just fine. People put money into them so they can enjoy them. I hit a deer last month in my truck, and daily drove a 1967 Fiat 850 Spider to work and never had an issue.....past getting in and out of the little thing.

How is this for a pic with lots going on.....I do have the hubcaps, this is right after I got it running again in Oct.
