This is a new pistol I just started shooting and just love it. Nice 2 3/4# trigger helps and it just feels good. I have been trying my regular glasses and a pair set up for focus around 27" for reading music. Nothing definitive yet but might be shooting the short focus glasses a little better. Probably obvious that the open sights are in perfect focus with the bullseye out of focus.

You change pistols like some change underwear.... well maybe not that often but you've shot quite a few in the matches!

Looks like a nice piece, and you've already shot your high score at 15 yards with it as it's your only 15 yard entry. :bthumb:

Shot a card today - shot at 25 yards as I didn't feel like moving the target stand after shooting the rifles. I was pumped after the first bull, with all in the black. But then reality took over and I pulled 4 shots. Fun anyway.

Things get tough quicker at 25 yards for sure. But being you are the only entry this month at 25 yards, you can say you dominated the 25 yard score for the month!

As a side note, only 5 people have entered a score with irons at 25 yards. Now I'm not saying the others are scared, and I'm certainly not saying they are lesser men BUT.....

All joking aside, only 6 people have shot 25 yards with optics and entered a score. So it must be tough for everyone.

I must agree that I have been testing what seems like more pistols than should be needed but let the record show, I only have three lowers to use four uppers on. Was shooting the 1911 .22 yesterday with a red dot trying to produce a respectable score for 25 yards and a 175 0x was just not good enough to report! By the way, after installing the Sightron SRS-2 red dot I sighted it in at 50 yards as I was already there shooting a rifle and the 1911 produced a 5 shot group that only measured .655! That is accuracy you can take advantage of. Blessed with some nice warm weather and light winds lately in Colorado.

Is owning four options two too many?

Beautiful day at 69 degrees low wind and why I could not have shot this for the November talley I do not know. Might not eclipse this score for the month so posting it now. This new Nelson conversion is heading in the right direction. Might have something for SALE sometime in the near future.

Well, today we have a wind chill factor of 10 below zero. Lots of snow up north. Snow here tonight.

First brutal wind chill of the winter. Indoor day. Glad I'm retired.

I did get out last week on our last fairly nice day.

I wasn't going to enter it because it's not as good as my previous best, but hey, it's gonna be my best for December because it's highly unlikely weather will allow me out again.

Nice score bumps with both pistols.

That revolver target looks to me like you got at least one X as well, maybe two.

It's good to see some entries rolling in, even if some of you are getting shut down by weather here and there. But over the winter people can watch and see what Jazzsax8 sells, so they have new pistols to shoot in the spring.

Until then, we can all give Rocinante grief until we convince him to go shoot in the cold. The shakes might impact his scores a little bit.

Well consistency has been your strong point. Your 10 yard score strayed some this month, but it's hard to top 5 targets with the same score. Now if you have the same rounds in each ring.... that would be unreal consistency!

That 15 yard score is just 1X shy of your high at with that combo too. Good wheelgun shooting. :bthumb:
