Does anyone have any suggestions on what stock would be good for off hand shooting.

McMillan silhouette, and that's a really cute puppy whose picture you posted. Congrats. Gotta just love them dogs. People who don't CANNOT be trusted. :)

The Bell & Carlson Anschtutz Thumbhole is a great offhand stock, will also do well on a set of bags. I have 2 of them and an Oddyssy (sp) the Thumbhole is the best one.

If you have the cash for the McMillan you won't get abetter stock, if not the B&C is half the cost.
