This thing is all over the page. I wonder if the target they sent back with the repaired pistol is from the same pistol. Are 5" groups at ten feet normal for ths pistol? Because they're not normal for my S&W Model 66. The sight adjustment screw for windage is so loose, I wonder if it turns after every shot. I am not impressed with the Neos and wish I had bought something else. I shot at some cans about 20 feet off, using a rest and the shots would literally do a "round-the-clock" AROUND the can!!! This is with Wolf Match Target and Federal bulk pack both. What the_____???!!! My Smith hits plumb center with both .357 and .38s but this thing just flings bullets out like it was a slingshot. Not happy, disappointed, and feel somewhat ripped off. Already sent back this thing once. I'm not sending it back again. I'm selling it. I'll never buy another Beretta. Should have known better. I worked on M9s in the army as a small arms repairman.

Sorry your having such trouble

I sure understand your frustration, and have felt the same way myself in the past with some things.

I don't know what to say about your Neos, as you know, I have had great luck with mine. It is much more accurate then I am at the moment. You may have seen my photo of some very shot up tin cans also, to show that the Neos can do the job. I sure understand, you bought it new, and have had nothing but trouble. I wish you could get it to someone like 38super, and let him take a look at it. With your Army experiance, I am sure you have covered the bases, but I wished we could find out what the problem was with it.

Just for comparisons, I did a little make shift back yard bench shooting a couple of days ago, at about 15 yards and was able to keep all of the rounds inside a 2" circle. Even considing my poor shooting abilities, I was getting much better then what you have seen with the Neos so far.

If selling it is you decision, I hope you are able to get your money out of it, and are able to get something that preforms well for you.

happy shooting.

I wish the Israelis made a .22 pistol. I have an Israeli-made Baby Eagle/Jericho 941 9mm and that thing is awesome. Israelis make nice firearms. Or even a Russian-made one. I don't know. I'm pretty disappointed in this thing. I've never seen anything like it. You'd think a .22 is capable of better close range accuracy than a .357 magnum. Not in this case. Am I expecting too much? I don't know. My Smith and Wesson 66 puts 6 .38 +Ps into a penny sized dot at 14 feet. With 158 grain .357s and higher grain super blasters, it puts 6 into a quarter sized dot at that distance. Beretta has someone totally asleep at the wheel in Quality Control. I suspect there are a whole bunch of crappy barrels coming out of that factory. Once I get shed of this POS, I'm going to put the money towards another AK.

Make sure everything is snugged down Kevan. If so, it is a QA prob and should be sent back with an example target with info (ammo, distance). The other check is to slug the barrel. Pull an unfired bullet from a case. With a brass or soft metal drift, knock the bullet thru the barrel. If it pushes thru easy, the bore is too big, causing blow-by. If tight, inspect the rifling marks for full depth bullet engagement (bore and land marks should be shiney). Sure hate to see this Kevan, but I hope Beretta make good on this.

I had a little trouble with my windage screw. but the group just kept wandering left. Once I figured out what was happening I watched it and the screw would back out a quarter turn every three shots. I set it back to zero and put a drop of clear fingernail polish in the screw hole.
