The standard Tac-22 has been the best economical “fun” ammunition that I have found. Their “new” Match is better, but for practice I find the standard to be fine
Targets are 50yds with 52C and 52B

I bought it in Jan for $3.29/box. Then a month ago, I found it for $2.99/box. The $3.29/box has a louder report and seems to be more accurate. With that said, I haven't found anything to touch it accuracy-wise at the same price point. With the Waltz die, it's also my goto for hunting.
Sportsman's Whorehouse had Tac 2 for $4.99 a box, so drove 50 miles and when I got to the counter, after a half hour wait, it came up $9.99 a box. Glad I had other things to do in Rochester. Runnings has CCI SV at $3.98 a box. Supply and demand, stop buying $25/box and the price will come down. Wake up guys, you're not even getting kissed!

Something is up with Norma's .22 LR prices. Note sure what but it has been all over the board. In general it is higher then it was several months ago. At one point their sub-sonic TAC-22 doubled in price. Then came down a bit.

Just need to keep an eye on it and order when the price is best.

For those of us in the commie states like NY that is difficult. We have to go through an FFL and that can add considerably to the price. No deals where they forget to charge sales tax or wave shipping. And the demand is low enough that the small stores just don't stock anything but the bulk ammo, Fed auto, golden bullet, ext. I've never seen Wolf, SW, Eley or 10X in a store.

Nice shooting ! For the money TAC-22 is hard to beat. One of my LGS still has black box and have it on sale every now and then. As mentioned like everything TAC-22 has gone up in price a little.
Federal Automatch performed better than my last batch of CCI SV!
Thanks for mentioning that! I had just bought 3 boxes at Walmart for my Buck Mark. I tested it in my Anschutz yesterday at the range and it shot great! Fewer flyers than the TAC22.

I shot some TAC-22 sub sonic today at 50 yards and 30 rounds were the size of a quarter.
TAC-22 seems to be fairly accurate.

Beretta bought Norma, maybe they have raised prices.
