Nice Wood 10/22 Stock?
I’m looking for a nicer stock for a 10/22 build I’m doing. I have a DSP stock on hand as a backup option, but would like something a little nicer. I’m a little tacti-cooled out these days…
Are there any non-thumbhole options out there off the shelf? Any recommendations on where to find something like this without dropping $2k for a full custom stock?

I have one of the Altamont KKC Advanced Hunting Stocks. https://www.altamontco.com/pistol-grips/past-work/KKC/.
I really like it for my 50yr. LVT, which has a 20" heavier tapered barrel, as it has an adjustable cheek piece and the fit was very, very precise. I too, do not like thumbhole stocks. I do not know if they are still available, or if they are not, will even be.
The Stocky's EuroTarget looks similar, but has a nice belly in the forearm. Stocky's® EuroTarget™ Designed For Ruger® 10/22® Laminated Stock - .920 Bull & FBC THe EuroTarget does have a factory tapered barrel option, as well as the .920 barrel.

unfortunately, I don't think Altamont has had any 10/22 stocks commercially available for a couple years now...at least it seems that long since I've been occasionally looking at their site for a KKC to do a KIDD tapered barrel build with..When you say wood, is Laminate included?

After looking at all the options and the great suggestions that all of the members have provided, I have almost settled on a Boyd’s Pro Varmint in walnut. I have a couple questions in with them regarding finish options.
