Just picked up my VQ - superlite receiver, TG2000 trigger and 12.5" carbon barrel (with 4" Sako Mod) .

Now it's only a .22LR so do I need to run the barrel in like I would a centrfire, or 17HMR??

Or just shoot, and not clean it until my groups open up??

I was planning on using Eley Subs or Eley Tenex, havn't decided yet?

Should I be running it in with more powerful bullets first then go to subs??

Any help appreciated, sorry this has all been asked before!

If thats a VQ barrel you should be good to go. Just don't use a brush to clean it with. The VQ barrels are already polished, (vapor honed I believe) and don't need a break in. (so I'm told)
