Hello. Learned in the 50's on my dad's old Browning. Purchased a Henry a few years back. Recently read about the new Rossi. Resonably priced at least by manufacturers estimates. Been looking to get one but everyone seems sold out. Any ideas as to where one available. Bud, Cheaper Than Dirt, Etc seem to be sold out.
Thanks

Great question!

I see advertising for the BrazTech|Rossi Gallery 22LR 754908229901, but no one has them for sale.

I question if they really have been for sale yet, or is stock truly depleted?

Rossi RP22181WD UPC 754908229802 (wood furniture)

Rossi RP22181SY UPC 754908229901 (synthetic furniture)

I read this thread while killing time at a gun shop this afternoon while they readied a sale for me, and found this thread. I had them check their suppliers for the Rossi Gallery gun. Nothing. It is believed that it has not been released yet. Sorry. You might try your own LGS and see if they happen to have a wholesaler who does.

I was able to handle one at a LGS and was not impressed. The old Rossi Gallery Guns were clones of the Winchester model 62, but these are designed differently. When you pump the action you have to be very careful that hammer does not come back and pinch your hand. I don't remember the old Rossi's having that issue. The overall build quality seemed cheap with the overuse of plastic. I just couldn't get excited by this gun.

I got to handle one of these today, and while not exactly impressed, I find myself tempted at the price point.

It's been a while since I made a bad gun purchase, somebody should talk me out of this.

I'm talking about the synthetic version, they did not have the wood stocked version.

looked at one at rural king today it was the syn stock priced at 249. It is not the same gun as the 62 or any of the other pumps. Look a little like the henry but not built as well. All that being said if you have been pricing pump 22s the 249 price is not bad. You need to look at it like a heritage or wrangler its not a top line collector but maybe a fun little shooter.

My shop has it at the full on $300 so it's clear I at least need to wait for a better deal. Thanks for the reply!

Found one at Tamopa Shooters World on one of their weekend sales for $249. It's not as nice as the 62 and not take down but other than the RED wood it's not bad for fit and finish. A little stiff in the action and much cheap construction, like plastic trigger guard and "Zink" chassis and painted finish rather than blued. Have not had a chance to take to the range but got a scope mounted on it and it's seems to mount and function OK. Hopefully it will shoot as well as it looks.

I got a couple Rossi Interarms the 62 SAC is a gem thousands of 22 thru it I digress the new ones do not impress me one bit too much Zamak pinned barrel the german wood looks OK but I just have not warmed up to it, why should I got two steel and wood that looks like a Winchester 62 and function as well.
