223 or 22-250
Having owned both at one time I like the 223 better because of the availabilty of reloadable brass. One think that you have to watch out for is the weight of the bullet should match the twist of the barrel. Shooting the heavier bullets it a slow twist (12 or 14) will cause high pressures.
My weapon of choice is a 700 VS with a 36x Tasco scope. This set up works for me as I only shoot at the bench anymore.
