New Rifle - SuperSport legal?

This is a new one for me on several levels, which I will explain later. Now, I just need to know if this stock is too close to a target stock for SuperSport. Rules say sporter and varmint rifles, and I have seen varmint stocks with vertical grips and wider forends like this, but what do you guys think?

Looks fine to me! Nice stock. Is it maple? I have a maple CZ 527 in 22 Hornet that was that white or whiter and showed almost no grain but as time pasted it has yellowed some and the grain started popping out. Same thing happened to my Bubinga 10/22. Plain orange at first and now much prettier with lots of grain. A friend to me it had to do with the wood no being exposed to light.
Beautiful SuperSport........ Stocks looks good to me.
Cool, glad it's within boundaries :bthumb: It's maple. It's member-made. I got it out to the range yesterday for pics and test shooting, and will do a proper introduction as a fresh post once I figure out the name and 3 letter acronym for this rifle

I think you should name it Manford Spends... :D

Another superspecial stock the rest of us can't have....

That is why it is called SUPERSport. I have at least two stocks I thought I would never own but was in the right place at the right time. Both are after market fingergroove style.

Hang around long enough and be willing to take a little hit financially and things happen. Having said that three of my favorite rifles I have are in DSP stocks and we already know you can do those.:bthumb:

Ya coulda had it iffen you'da kept a better eye on the TPC ;)

I could name it "Manford folds his arms grumpily and finally consents to join the crowd and try a Kidd barrel, rolling his eyes all the while", but that won't pare down to the 3-letter acronym format I insist on for my rifles
Early bird gets the worm... :)

I am broke so it doesn't matter I am just complimenting you on having a collection of really fine custom made stuff that appears to be turning into a herd. :)

Thank you :) I might not have any high dollar customs as seen elsewhere on RFC, but am blessed to have scored great deals on a few finer components. I am especially grateful to have a couple stocks made by RFC members. If there is one thing that will push me into outright debt, it's the desire to show support and acclaim for the passion and hard work of RFC members. The idea of a custom stock from a small-scale maker really appeals to me, and when the price dips to a certain point, I find myself unable to maintain financial discipline! :bthumb:
I couldn't agree with you more and cudos on having the knack for finding all the best ones. :D

Infinitely more interesting than the rest!

I will be making one for myself. Got a long ways to go before I know exactly how I want it to be but yours is not far from what I had mind overall. I have hard maple stock as well as walnut but undecided as to which one to use for that purpose. Maple is the most likely choice since it won't be a checkered sporter stock and therefore from my perspective no reason to use walnut. For some reason, I have always loved the checkered walnut sporter stocks but I have two of those already.

Ole Freak said once that everyone needs three 1022s. A light, a medium, and heavy.

I came to the conclusion a long time ago that he was right. Have had the light and medium for long time. Have had a third barreled action for a long time too that has been homeless for too long. I need a long/heavy barrel and a stock for it. One will cost me time but no money the other might never happen. :D
