Couldn't agree with you more. Geee, I wonder who/where they got that dang idea from.
New pistol
Now they just need a metal grip frame, black barrel and bring back the "Great Eight"!

:yeahthat: If Ruger would only poll the folks that freguent RFC, they would most likely get the best ideas for a new "style" pistol (Mark IV) than they would ANYWHERE else, including their design staff. Instead of that thing I'd rather see a "Great Eight" like DANZO suggested with a Mark III style stainless steel grip frame, with 1911 style magazine release and a blued, slabside upper in eight-inch barrel length, with "GREAT EIGHT" emblazened along both sides & drilled and tapped. Man, would I have a time with that baby. :bthumb:

Me neither, I like the concept and I think Ruger is angling to grab some TacSol sales but the look is just too "paintball" for my tastes.
