The steel for the round weights will be shipped to us on next Tuesday. We should get it the following week to begin production. We will have the Matte Finish and Polished Blue Weights available before the end of the year- I think. According to the prints they are: Matte-2oz/Stk# 10144- 3oz/Stk# 10149 and Blue- 2oz/Stk# 10138- 3oz/Stk# 10139.High Standard Firearms USA has been searching the rubble that was left in the plant when the previous Company Failed. Last week, we found the tooling and gauges to manufacture the 2 and 3 oz Round Barrel Weights. The prints and process sheets were found 3 years ago. They are made from a common grade of steel that should be available. I hope to start production this week. This will add another original High Standard Accessory back to the Factory Product Line !!!! ALSO, we have found the tooling to manufacture the Olympic Short Barrel Weight. The same tooling can be used to manufacture the Olympic ISU short weight. We have the prints and process sheets. You are referencing an old but incorrect story. The Crusader project was done by High Standard designers Richard (Dick) Baker and Ralph Kennedy. Baker and Kennedy had both previous been designers at Colt. The patents for the Crusader were issued in Baker's and in Kennedy's names and assigned to the Leisure Group Incorporated which at the tiem owned the High Standard Manufacturing Corporation where Baker and Kennedy worked.Wasn’t the original Dan Wesson company involved in the Crusader line of revolvers?

The weights have all been cut to length. They are about half way thru the process to square the ends. The next step will be to drill the holes for the SHCS. Then the angle cuts on both ends. We will have Matt and Polish Blue Finishes. These Weights will NOT have the hole thru the center. Estimated delivery is the 3rd or 4th week of Jan 2023.
