About 20 minutes or so of fitting and I have a somewhat updated 591.
Makes the rifle feel a lot nicer to me.remington stock always felt light and weak to me.
Barrel channel has about 1/16 factory inletted gap on both sides.action sits pretty much square and tight in stock ,still needs a bedding job.

I'm a little late, but that looks great! Was that stock specifically for the 591 or for the 580 series? I sure wish one of the manufactures would bring us another 5mm rimfire! The seventeen's surely have run out of newitys Bring on some 5mms!!!
