found a 77 22 mag blue on wood made in 97 about 95 to 97 percent a few nicks and dings it has a 3 x 9 tasco world class for 300.oo

Sounds like a good deal. Suggest you check the bore for wear & also check for dings on the muzzle.
Would be good to test fire this rifle before you lay down hard earned cash.

I bought mine a year ago...1999 magnum that was in 99% condition, not a mark or scratch anywhere. I paid $300 from a sporting goods store (who always has the best prices around) with a cheap tasco 3-9X32 scope.

Sounds like a great deal... Clark Brothers here in Va is looking to get $400 for a beat up, crappy, .22lr....blued/walnut...no scope.

thanks for the input i picked it up tonight it cleaned up great trigger need some work and a few tight spots in the barrel chanel now for the fun part where do i go from here any input once more i would like to send it to cpc

I'd get a VQ sear and spring from one of our sponsors before anything else . As long as you have the action out of the stock , go ahead and free float the barrel channel and stock up on ammo .
Other than that just enjoy a great investment . You cannot go wrong with a 77/22
