BROWNELLS has "blank" dovetail scope mount stock ......... Just buy a section, and drill as needed.
If you are a bit unsure about taking on something like this, just ask to speak to the Tech Dept. . . . . . The Guys there, will be more than happy to give you a hand. Just tell Him what You're trying to do.
If You've got a dial caliper, or just a decent stainless engineer's ruler (sp), measure the screw holes from the same points (back of hole, to back of hole),
and that will give you the Center to Center measurement of the holes, WITHOUT any guesswork. If you give this information to the Tech, He may know of a base that's a perfect fit. (be sure to use LocTite)
