I posted this question at another site and got no response......??? I have an old model 99 that was my grandfathers'.....and I would like to scope it,,but I can't find any scopebase listing for it. It has 2 drilled and tapped holes in the receiver. I would like to find a dovetail base if possible,,,since many of the 22 scopes come with rings.
I'm not too familiar with older Marlins.....but from reading other posts I'm guessing the model 60 replaced the 99. Is the receiver the same?

Thanks guys........I like the Brownells blank dovetail base idea. I will be getting in touch with them for sure.
I'm pretty handi when it comes to fabrication of things,,and I own a drill press so it shouldn't be too hard to get r done.
