I received my 18" F. J. Feddersen barrel the same day qtip did. Mine had a slight nick on the top of the barrel. I emailed the company immediately about the issue. The following day Fred Feddersen, the owner, called me himself to apologize for the mistake. He said that even though he was sorry this had happened to me, he was glad that by my reporting the issue he would be able to make changes to ensure that it would never happen to anyone else. As this conversation was on a Friday, it was arranged for a new barrel to be shipped out to me first thing Monday. Mr. Feddersen told me in the mean time to go ahead and try out the barrel I had on hand, assuring me that I would NOT be disappointed. And, I have to say, he was absolutely right!!! :D

Here's a pic of my 25 yd. ten shot group, stock trigger (upgrade coming soon) using CCI SV...

After seeing some of the groups I was getting, the nick in the barrel became the last thing on my mind. I actually started feeling bad for complaining about it in the first place. Mr. Feddersen called again on Monday asking how I liked the way the barrel had shot. I told him I loved it and my regrets about complaining. He assured me again, that I had actually helped him improve his company. My experience with the replacement barrel proved as excellent as the first. I would highly recommend an F.J. Feddersen to anyone that wants a highly accurate upgraded barrel. For the price it can't be beat! :bthumb:

My wife and I shot a little this morning trying Wolf MT, SK Standard+, CCi SV. The CCI done very good the SK done awesome but I was disappointed in the Wolf. I must have gotten a bad lot because I have tested a hundred or so through the Feddersen barrel before with EXCELLENT results ( ie: as good as the photos posted). That is why I ordered some along with the SK because of such better groups than the CCI SV. Has anybody else got a bad lot of Wolf MT??? I mean it wasn't horrible just a little worse than the CCI SV that I normally shoot.

I can't say enough good thing about this Feddersen barrel AND my wife as she just began to shoot with me only a month or so ago. Awesome groups by her. She out shot me today:eek: I told her it was because of such a good barrel and teacher:bthumb:

Here are the best 25 yrd 5 shot groups from this morning:D

I got my bolt back from Que this week and had the day off so I figured I'd go out and shoot a few targets. Que done an awesome job. I was having several misfires and FTE and this morning after 300 rounds I had 0 :D I think I'm just about finished with the build. Maybe a Mueller 8x32x44 target scope in the future. Here is a picture of ten 5 shot groups @ 50 yards from this morning using SK Standard+. I still am very pleased with the Feddersen barrel:yippee:. I would like to find some CenterX locally and try some groups with it.

The rifle is a 1973 reciever, Brimstone tier 3 trigger job set at 2.5 lbs, Que bolt work with Volquartsen exact edge extractor, Volquartsen extended bolt handle, Vortex Crossfire 4x12x40AO fine crosshair, Archangel Deluxe Target stock, and 18" fluted Feddersen barrel.
Again I can't say enough good things about this barrel:bthumb:. At 25 yard it is phenomenal, I think I need more practice shooting at 50 yards.
