compared to my older one...

I just got a new one in silver from NSS and it is slightly shorter, the mag feed arch is not as smooth or arced and there are sharp and pointy edges.

I have one on a blued rifle that is MUCH nicer.

Did they change the material? Is the blued/black one steel?

Change of process?

I'd say you got one that snuck past QC. Send it back to VQ and they will make it right.
