I know this will be old news to a lot of people on this forum, but I wanted to let everyone know how I spent my Sunday afternoon.
I have been hunting all my life and shooting what ever Dad would let me get my hands on. But my wife has not had the same oppertunities. She did not mind me spending the time to go hunt, fish, or shoot. But it just did not make sense to her. How could I enjoy filling a piece of paper full of holes (real close hopefully).
So, Sunday after I took her out to eat and spent five hours shoping (did not complain once!). She went out to the farm with me to shoot. I wish I would of done this along time ago. She had a good time out there, she actually shot pretty well, and now she has an understanding of why I have boxes of ammo laying around and complain about not having and GOOD ammo to shoot.
I was able to show her what I good group looks like and how one brand/stlye of ammo shoots better than another.
Needless to say I think I have a new shooting buddy, and I will probably have to buy another .22 in the near future. (Darn!!! Hate that!)
Well, for all of you who have been shooting as a family CONGRATULATIONS. And for all of those who do not, You may want to consider it!
