This is my heavy. I still need to do a few things like bed it but it shoots pretty good. I will gets some target pics in my next outing. It has a SS 20" kidd barrel and I added the stock that I purchased from lbjennings on here and I can t say enough for fit and finish and a great guy to deal with. The bolt, trigger and receiver got a full work over from CPC. Bolt is jeweled, trigger is around 2.5 pounds. Has a extended mag release. as of now I have a Burris c4 on it.

That looks like a PERFECT rifle for this Forum. I would not mind having an identical rifle. I really like it.

Looking forward to following this one along.

Welcome To SuperSport!!!
Thanks Vincent
I am proud of it. I am starting to get disgusted with the wind it has blown For weeks in the 20 mph and up range and no relief in sight. Supposed to be gust up to 45 today. Kinda hard to shoot. I guess I have kinda got the pic thing figured out I hope.
Nice rifle . I'minterested in seeing how this thing shoots:bthumb:

Where are ya from? I'm getting the same wind in central Missouri
Cool looking gun. There are people here that will guide you through bedding it. I like to use modeling clay for some applications while bedding. If your not sure how much epoxy to use say under the takedown screw use modeling clay to give you an idea on how much you'll need.
Great looking gun........ Did you stipple the grip? I always liked how Anschutz's had the darker stippled grip area. This stock reminds me of that.

Looks good! I have checked out some of the stocks lbjennings has made, almost pulled the trigger on the all walnut one he has in the classifieds. Can't wait for the range report!
I am actually north Topeka 30 minutes. Gonna give it a go tonight but it's really blowing tonight

I have a friend in Wichita who said its always windy in Kansas. Because Nebraska sucks and Oklahoma blows. Lol
Nice set up...:t
Love the barn yard picture and all....looks like farm country, just like parts of Mn.

Twice I have come back to see your rifle again. Each time I like it even more. I am not big on large roll over cheek rests this stock is one of the most interesting to me in a long time.

This has the potential to be one of our most interesting rifles in a long time. That is NOT to belittle any one else's rifle, on the contrary, we have had some very nice ones but that shows how fine I think this rifle is. I would certainly be very proud to call it mine!

Does that mean I am jealous? I think it DOES!!:D:bthumb:

Being a light sporter guy (SuperStock) more myself but the people on this forum are building some very fine rifles. I think I have figured out what I am going to do with one of my 80% receivers that are completed. Being monetarily challenged it may take a while and might even mean selling something else but I am starting to want to build one of these rifles myself. I doubt seriously that it will be as nice as yours I might do what I can to join in the fun here in SuperSport......

Thanks for all the great comments!! I am very happy with it. I just need to bed it as I know there is more in it. As far as stock goes I really like it lbjennings on here did a great job with it. I can't wait to give the games a go but also wanna get gun right before I try. For now I'm just getting some trigger time in and trying to figure out what bullet to pursue. As for now it likes Rws target, cci standard, Remington target, and federal target. All have showed potential. These are the best shells I have for now need to go shopping!!
Taw024, I like your rifle. :t Nice job putting it all together. I like all the parts you have selected for your build.
Is that your farm? It looks like a great place to live, away from all the hustle and bustle. Not to mention a great place to set up a range. Enjoy !

You might want to try SK Standard Plus or Wolf Match Target which are on the lower end of the scale and inexpensive but they both shoot some amazing groups. They are the same ammo just in different boxes. Made in Germany.:D:bthumb:

I live at the farm about 6 months of the year and in town 6 months of the year. Yes I am gonna make me a range this spring. Kids, sports, cows and farm life! Your my kinda guy! :bthumb:
I'm from Eastern Montana have a farm/ranch there. Did it full time since the early 80's. I got out of the farming end of things a few years back (still have the cattle) and moved to the Southwestern part of the state. Much nicer winters here in the mountains. :D

Spent some time as a kid in Olathe. Think that's about 50-60 miles east of where you are huh?
