As long as you have someone experienced to fall back on, I wouldn't worry. I did mine under the watchful eye of my gunsmith. I had some trouble getting the bolt to come back after it was reassembled. But persistance won the day and now I'm more comfortable with the weapon.
I was really impressed with how rugged a firearm it is. Mine also points more naturally than my Buckmark. I'm very pleased with my MKII. Good luck.

well, I got it apart in 10 seconds. Now I just need to clean the gunk off and try to reassemble.

Unfortunately, I don't have anyone with experience to fall back on. I think I'll be fine.

whoo hoo, I did it.

It was easy once I really took notice of the position of the hammer strut (maybe the hammer?) when putting the barrel back on.
