All--
I do not know anything about the Camper. I have a brand new Hunter. (I do not know its date of manufacture, though.)
Like New_geezer said, the firing pin housing is plastic and the buffer is plastic. This bothers me a little. What I am going to do to get over this slight irritation is buy a new housing and several new buffers and keep them as spares. In fact, if you look at another thread I posted about the firing pin housing assembly, you will see that I am going to back that sucker up very well and for very good reason!
However, I expect all these parts to be dirt cheap and will probably do more for my peace of mind than for my pistol.
