i have a problem with my favorite squirrel gun.my son had two of these rifles and he gave me one of them.i took it to a gunsmith and asked him to drill and tap for a scope and install a base and fix anything that needed fixing.he put in a new magazine and bolt spring.i paid him 100 dollars and left.i put a scope on and went to sight it in.it would jam or snap on one out of 3-4 shells.i called him and took it back.we shot it and he tinkered with it and the only thing that seemed to help it was to take the magazine clip that controls the release of the cartridge into the chamber out of the magazine and bend it.the gun still jams almost as much as it shoots.the cartridge stops at about a 30 degree angle coming into position to the chamber.if you slightly lift up on the bottom of the shell,it kicks up into position and chambers.my son had this problem with the other one and he switched to cci stingers and it rarely jams.i tried that and the stingers shoot no differently than the rem golden bullets that i use in all my .22s.
