I am not trying to steel this post, but I have a question on the spring. On my pistols I usually use a wall drywall anchor and release the tension on the firing pin (Dry Fire it for storage) I have not done this on my Savage. Leaving the Savage cocked all the time wear the spring faster? From what I understand it won't, just compressing and uncompressing the spring will cause it to wear down. What is everybody doing on this?
