Well!
We had knee-slapping, rip-snortin', Hee-Haw of a good time this morning!
It was not very summery weather for the first match of our Summer League, temperatures not getting out of the 50s.
With the wind gusting up to 20 miles an hour it seemed a lot colder.
The wind gusts blew those light bullets around quite a bit, along with the shooters!
Ten shooters participated in today's 100-Yard offhand match with nine scorecard turned in.
Here's how it shook out:
Mike Brenner -- 349-1X
Carol Fortney -- 337-3X
Leonard Bowers -- 327-2X
Bill Walls -- 322-1X
Al Vaina -- 321-1X
Tom Mohr -- 318-3X
Clyde Hammack -- 299-0X
Kim Long Bowers --241 -0X
Eric Arbruster, Jr. -- 176-0X
We have ben approached to provide support for the Boy Scouts shooting outing at the club on May 7, 2016.
I am told about eighty (80) scouts will be attending on the afternoon after our match.
If you can attend and act as coaches, safety/range officers, etc., your help would be greatly appreciated.
I also remind you all we are going to sponsor the Keystone Young Marines qualification shoot on June 4, 2016.
We will need your support as individual coaches, safety officers and range officers. I am told 15 -20 Young Marines will be there.
Please join us if you can and save the afternoon of June 4th to give something back to the shooting community.
I will need your help
Mike Brenner.
