I am currently considering the H001T and Golden Boy for a pest gun. I am leaning towards the H001T because of the lower price and grooved receiver. I probably won't scope the rifle but I like having the option and don't want to go through the trouble of adding a cantilever mount to a Golden Boy. I have some 11mm rings that I was previously using on my bolt action and I was wondering if these would fit the groove on a H001T.

Keep in mind that US rifles have a 3/8" dovetail. 11mm is about .433" and 3/8" is .375". You can try them, see how they mount and if it is secure.

I just mounted a 4x Weaver on a new H001T and found that I had to use "tall" Burris Signature Zee rings to clear the rear sight and hammer. There is a hammer spur available, according to Henry, made by Uncle Mike's. The part number is #2450-0.
