Boy, I thought I would have a chance to post a lot of scores this month, but we ended up with only a few decent days for the whole miserable cold and rainy and windy month.

I posted a pistol score at the beginning of the month, and didn't have a chance to do any serious shooting again until today. I opted for this match.

At least I got into two different matches, but really, I thought I would be in at least a couple more. :(

I'm hoping for a much better June :)

Has anyone shot this month's 25 shot group yet? I'm curious to know what kind of results you get.

I shot it today, and the group looks shamefully huge. I'm not sure if I will get another chance this month, and if I don't I will certainly send it in and take my lumps  I just don't know what to expect, though. I don't know if this is worse or better than what your average shooter can expect.

I might try to think of a better target to use. I had just shot a USBR target and used one of the sighter bulls for my target. It got hard to find the point of aim. I guess I should have moved the scope a few clicks DOH  I'll remember that if I get to try it again. :bonk:

Yeah, smarter would be better  The really stupid thing is it didn't occur to me until I was writing this that moving the point of aim off the point of impact would be a smart thing to do  Light dawns very slowly on marble head. :(

In my favor, though, is the fact that when I was shooting the USBR target, I finally got the hang of the fact that my rest moves both up and down and side to side. I can't believe how slow I have been to learn to use a rest. I've got equipment with all these great features, but I forget to use them
