Can anyone tell me the difference between a new marlin model 60 and a old style model 60. Also do they accept the same replacement stocks.

ONE is that the "new" ones have an auto bolt hold open.
I don't know about the stocks, or if there are other differences.

My Marlin Model 60 is 15 years old (My first gun after I passed Hunter Safety Course) and it has the auto-bolt hold open after the last shot.

I'd imagine that they are pretty much the same as they were back then. :)
The old style was, as far as i can tell, made until 1981. And there is a difference in stocks that's what is causing most of my problem.

P.S.Thanks for the input.
