Next time you cycle the action and feed a round, push the bolt handle forward and see if it's fully closing. Then try firing it. Also look at the internal hammer. I had one back in the 80's that a section broke off and became intermittent at hitting the FP. Should be a easy fix. Good shooting.

Talk about a problem "in plain sight"! I wonder if the original owner put that wire in and forgot about it? Then when it wouldn't fire got rid of it? You got a DEAL on that one and the cheapest fix you can get.:bthumb: Well unless you get some"bills in the mail".

There a couple others similar but the one piece really locks on the dove tail and stops it fron sliding due to the bolt recoil.
