I'm looking for an ejector spring for a 1946 Marlin 39A I inherited from my father-in-law. I've checked a lot of websites and they all indicate "out of stock" or "discontinued".

Looked around for you too, but couldn't find a source. Amazing how Marlin parts are drying up. Hope i don't need one in the future.
I made one several years ago from a piece of an old engineer's pocket scale...still working fine after several thousand rounds...kicks out the shell a good 5-7 feet on an old Marlin 97..I've heard of some folks making them out of automotive feeler gauge material also...in the meantime, check out Jack First at:

I have what you need. I can do the spring or the entire ejector assembly. PM and if you’re interested. Now mine is from a 57 model. I am not sure if they are the same.

Wish I could remember where I found an NOS mainspring for my '97 built on 1899. The guy had tons of old parts for older Marlin lever guns.
