First, can I assume that the target trigger comes standard on the Slabside?

Is the adjustment screw a "pre travel" adjustment?

Any tips on making that adjustment? IF it is in the Slabside...

The trigger on the slabside model I owned was no different than the trigger on my 5.5" bull barrel model I currently own.

Target Trigger

The trigger on the "Slabside" MKII is a Target Trigger: it has an 'overtravel' adjustment screw [buried down inside the frame].
It is the same as the other MKII Target Pistols, like the 512 Bull barrel model.

You may add a "pre-travel" adjustment screw:
