10/22. Weaver Grand Slam 6x20 @ 20. Eley Target Rifle
GM 18" barrel, 1#6oz trigger, bolt gone through, Blaster stock
Good news and bad news here. I learned I had not tightened my height adjustment lock on my rest til before my very last score. Actually it is good that I did find it, but even better, the wind let down for this one. Maybe I should not mention that this score contains a "6". Lucky bull #13 was a weak round that fell low! I really felt I walked away from the range today a smarter shooter.

I shot all my BAB scores first, while the wind was really nasty. Coming at my 2'o'clock and gusty. This was the last one, and I learned a ton about wind during these four scores. No flags out, but two pine boughs I learned to watch.

Have waited since November for the snow to melt so I could get across the field to the neighbor's range. The last two weeks we've had 50's and 60's for high temperatures. Snow in the field melted. Gun show and rain all day yesterday: (Sat 3/29) 63 degrees, no problem, will shoot Sunday. Got
up this am to see 3'" of new snow and temperature at 32. Snow stopped, so jumped on 4 wheeler with shooting stuff and across the field we go. Set up at 25 yards, start shooting, starts snowing again. Shot 2 targets with BAB, stuff is getting wet, pack it in, head home. There's always next month.
