Why is it that the after market parts companies don't seem to want to build aftermarket receivers for the 10/22M? I would think somebody would jump on the WMR/HMR bandwagon, they are so much fun to shoot. I keep waiting for a SS receiver to build one on. I guess I will have to keep dreaming

I am in the same boat as you. I am planning a 10/17/22. I have all the parts except the receiver. I really don't want to have to pay $360 to buy a 10/22 RBM when all I need is the action. Maybe Ruger will offer a stainless 10/17 when it comes out.

Somebody said whistlepig was coming out with a receiver for the HMR/WMR. Somebody should investigate.

We had a prototype machined in 7075 aluminum. But due to liability and insurance issues, we have not decided whether to market it or not. We are still in the investigating the potential. Attached is a picture of our prototype. Thank you for your inquiry.
