Don't waste your money on aftermarket magazines for it. I have several and none work in any of my rifles. If you find more than one SS adapter, let me know... I'd like one too. :D

The magazines sold by Numrich are repros, but they do work well. I have three 5-rounders and two 10-rounders from them. They work as well as the original Remmy mag.
If they are the ones that have an " R " stamped on the bottom, I have 4 of the 6 round and 1 or 2 of the 10 round and I have 3 rifles that they fit but there is no combination that works right. I have exactly the same problem with a couple of High Standard aftermarket mags. They either "stovepipe" the rounds or they dump the whole load out the top when the bolt is pulled back. Some of them were even advertized as built on the same machines Remington used. All were bought new and I can't remember if any came from Numrich but I "think" the 10 round did. I probably have 7 or 8 factory Remingtons and they all work in all 3 rifles.

The magazines I got from Numrich were unmarked, marked with an "R", and marked "Remington". One of them didn't accept rounds, sent it back, got another one. They all work well, and I can't tell which is which unless I look at the bottom of the mag.

YMMV, Neil
If they have the Remington "script logo" on the bottom, they're Rem. factory and I've had no problems with them. Numrich has had them used at times but not very many of these get salvaged anymore. I've bought a couple on ebay but they generally go $20 - 25 higher than new aftermarket. I did mess up and forget to bid on 2 of them a short time back and they went cheap... I think $30 -35 for the pair. Teach me to wait until the last minute :1t !!
